Ally Sheedy

Alexandra Elizabeth Sheedy was born in the year 1962. She is an American actress. Following her debut movie in 1983, Bad Boys, Sheedy became part of the Brat pack group of actors. She starred in WarGames (1983) The Breakfast Club (1985), Short Circuit (1986), and WarGames. Sheedy received the Independent Spirit Award Best Female leading for her role in Lisa Cholodenko's High Art (1998). Ally Sheedy is an American writer and actress. Her movie career started in early 1980s when she starred as a crime drama actress, Bad Boys. The film was directed by Rick Rosenthal, other well-known actors such as Sean Penn Esai Morales Clancy Brown as well as Alan Ruck also appeared. In 1985, after her success in a film, the actress appeared as a character in The Breakfast Club - a comedy/drama. John Hughes directed one of greatest films for high schools. While the budget for the film was just $1 million, the film's profits were more than $50 million. In the meantime, she was also appearing in various TV shows including CBS Schoolbreak which was her TV debut. This show aimed at teenagers and began airing in April 1980. Chicago Story Big City Samuels and the Kid and Hill Street Blues are other TV shows where she was featured. Her most recent appearances include Little Sister, a film that follows a super-hero, where Sheedy is a small cameo. Sheedy, for her incredible performances won many awards. Sheedy was awarded the MTV Movie Award's Gold Bucket of Excellence Award 2005.
