Felicity Jones was born in England and is primarily known for the actress who appeared as Jane Hawking on the critically-acclaimed film The Theory of Everything. Jones started acting at age 12 and worked on numerous TV shows, plays and movies. The first film she appeared in was The Treasure Seekers, a television film. Later, in The Worst Witch she played Ethel Hallow. Then came Weirdsistersisters, which was a sequel to The Worst Witch. The first feature film she acted in was Flashbacks of a Fool (which she starred in), Young Ruth, she went on and acted in various other movies. Her acting made her famous in films such as The Invisible Woman, and The Amazing Spider-Man. It was, however, her role in The Theory of Everything that brought her an Oscar for the first time. Jones her portrayal of Stephen Hawking's wife in this biopic, which is based on his life, was praised both by critics and viewers. Inferno, a Tom Hanks thriller was her subsequent film. Jones was awarded the title British Artist of Year 2016 by the British Academy of Film and Television Arts Los Angeles in recognition of her exceptional talent and contributions to cinema.
