Suzy and Aubrey

Suzy Kolber's parents are Jewish. She was born Suzanne Lisa Kolber May 14, 1964, in Philadelphia Pennsylvania. She is currently the age of 58. She is the mother of Sandra Kolber and her father is Gene Kolber. Kolber is a graduate of Upper Dublin High School in Pennsylvania, and Sandy Run Middle School. The University of Miami awarded her an Associate of Arts (telecommunications) degree in 1986. As a college undergraduate, she secured a job in Dynamic cable in Coral Gables Florida as a Sports Director. Additionally, she worked for Dynamic Cable between 1984 and 1986 for a total of two years. In this time she also played in the Miami University's water ski team. Plaza was active in Wilmington community theatre as when she was a young person, and was a part of improv groups, performed in one-acts and directed them, as well as participating in various other events. In New York City, Plaza attended the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University and attended an improv course in The Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre. In 2006 she graduated with a master's degree in film and television production. After having a stroke in her 20s which left her with a temporary expressive aphasia.
